STRATEGIES OF ARCHITECTURE DESIGN

The sophomore design studio at the Illinois School of Architecture, UIUC, explores architectural principles at the scales of the building, neighborhood and city. Students work on site specific design by demonstrating the importance of context in relationship to human scale and the built environment. Special attention is given to the principles of materiality.
