Teaching philosophy.

My teaching philosophy centers on learning by doing. I work closely with students guiding them in generating a design concept and developing the concept to an architectural intervention. Throughout this journey, I focus on materiality, particularly the notion of volumetric "heaviness" and "lightness", both in a literal and experiential sense. My teaching also focuses on helping students achieve a robust computational design foundation, including environmental analysis through Grasshopper, modeling through 3D scanning etc.
